Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Exhibition

The Arts Council of Midland will host a Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Exhibition featuring local artisans from Wednesday, October 4 to Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the Arts Council of Midland, located at 1506 W. Illinois Ave. in Midland, TX. Artists and groups may display alters expressing how they remember and honor deceased friends and family members.

Space is limited. All applicants must use the Dia de los Muertos theme in their three-dimensional creations, and artwork cannot exceed 10’ in any direction. Admissions are $25 each.

 

Please submit your application and 1-3 images representative of your work to info@acmidland.org.

POP-UP Awards Ceremony

On Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023,  from 5:30 - 7 p.m., we will host our first POP-UP awards ceremony for participating artisans involved with Dia de los Muertos. Join us for this celebration at the Arts Council of Midland, located at 1506 W. Illinois Ave. in Midland, TX.
