SCARBOROUGH-LINEBERY HOUSE COMPLEX

Scheduled for 2023, the Arts Council of Midland is acquiring the historic Old Midland home known as the Scarborough-Linebery House Complex. The property covers 2.5 acres and five buildings throughout the acreage, including the circa 1907 Scarborough Historical House, serving as a local example of ranch-style architecture characteristic of early-day West Texas cattlemen. The area belonged to the same family for 90 years before being donated to the City of Midland.
