THE OPEN Show

The Arts Council of Midland would like to invite you to submit your artwork for exhibition in “The Open Show”. This is a local open call show and artists from around the area are welcome to submit their work. Most visual art mediums are accepted (painting, photography, prints, fiber art, collage, drawing, sculpture) except for performance art, installations, sound and video art (electronic media). Juried Arts Awards with prize money are available.

Important Dates

January 5, 2026 - Artwork Submission via email Deadline

January 9, 2026 - Acceptance Notification by email

January 16, 2026 - Payment Deadline (Three entries MAX per artist)

January 19 & 20, 2026 (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.) - Drop off Accepted Artwork at ACM

January 22, 2026 (5:30 p.m.) - Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony (5:45 p.m.)

March 1, 2026 - Exhibition Ends

March 2 & 3, 2026 - Pick Up Artwork
